Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

We were able to pack over 700 shoeboxes this year to send to children around the world.  Each box is filled with items that we take for granted everyday.  Soap, washcloths, pencils and crayons, paper, dolls, etc.  Things we may throw in the junk drawer in the kitchen, but to children who have nothing, they can change a life.  Jenny  told a story about a 24 year old man who still had the rubber ball that he received in a shoebox from Operation Christmas Child when he was 6 years old!! These boxes have the potential to change a child’s life.  We are so thankful and humbled to have the ability to give and bless others around the world. After all the boxes were packed, we gathered around them and prayed that God would put them in the hands of the children they were meant for. I love being a part of a church that truly believes that we are all the hands and feet of Jesus!
